1. The GC shall have the power to set up Chapters or approve the formation of a Chapter of the Society in different parts of India, and the Regulations and Bye-laws contained herein shall apply to any such Chapter. For formation of a Chapter of the Society the minimum number of members in that territory shall be 250, however there can be sub-centers functioning under the said Chapter, the sub-centers should have a minimum membership of 50. Student members shall not be included in the strength of the Chapter.

2. The affairs of each Chapter shall be managed by the Chapter Executive Committee (CEC) of not more than 11 members, elected by the members of the Chapter once in three years. The necessary election procedure and the exact number of CEC shall be laid down by the CEC of the Chapter from time to time. The committee shall among themselves elect a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman, a Secretary, and a Treasurer. There shall be one student member representative on CEC.
